--Village Gala Day- July 10th at 2:00pm

Preparations are well underway for the Village Gala, which is to take place on July 10th on the Village Recreational Ground. The parade starts at 2:00pm with the main event kicking off at 2:30pm when the float arrives.

There will be lots of stalls, including the infamous bottle stall and the new addition of the Thurgoland Action Gazebo. There will also be a chance to see the Virtual Village, which the children from the Out of School Club have put together and Maurice Williams will be displaying a history presentation as a warm up for the new local history group.
