NEWS As you will see from the address above, the Clerk is leaving Belmont Terrace in the near future. During the past five or six years, the Clerk has looked after the Belmont Terrace Garden area – a plot of land which belongs to the Parish Council and is for the use of all residents. A new gardener is needed for this area and the Parish Council wonder if any resident would like to take on this task in order that our village can continue looking neat and tidy. The grass cutting takes approximately 2 hours per cut and the border can take as little or as long as you want it to take. It requires weeding and keeping tidy and if you wish to plant any more flowers it is possible that funds can be found by the Parish Council to purchase them. The Parish Council own a lawn mower (electric), strimmer and extension cable which would be made available to whoever takes on this task. However, in order to be able to use them, the gardener really needs to live on Belmont Terrace!! If you live elsewhere in the village and wish to help the Parish in this way, please do not hesitate to contact the Clerk on the above number for further information.
