--Youth forum workers to return to the Parish

Mick O'Roarke and Denise Stables from the CIP project came to a recent Parish Council meeting and advised that there were a number of initiatives starting to take place in Thurgoland over the coming months, aimed at the young people in the Village. Ideas included designing a bench for the boundary walk, which the young people will design. It should be a great chance to get involved and do something lasting and rewarding in the place that you live. Leaflets will be distributed shortly but those interested can call Mick O'Roarke on 07932 782350.

The Youth forum workers will also be organising a 'Speakeasy' session in the parish where the agenda is set by the young people and decision makers will be asked to join and listen to what they have to say. It's a great opportunity for the young people to put their views forward and we'll be posting dates and times of these venues when they become available.
