Thurgoland Parish Paths Partnership The Parish Paths Group would like to enlist the help of anyone who is prepared to walk a path in the parish at least six times a year and report any problems concerning the path. If enough volunteers come forward, it means the network of parish paths can be constantly monitored and any problems quickly identified and dealt with. For further information on walks in the parish or to assist with the Parish Paths Group initiative, please contact Ann Rowley on (0114) 288 2595. LATEST NEWS THURGOLAND BOUNDARY WALK The walk started at 10.00 a.m. from The Bridge Inn, Cote Lane, Thurgoland and a mix of age groups took part. It covers the boundary of the Parish and is approximately 9 miles in length taking in spectacular views, footpaths, bridleways, the Trans Pennine Trail.
