Childcare
Formerly known as Thurgoland Pre School, Thurgoland Childcare provides childcare to meet your requirements from complete daytime care for infants aged from 6 weeks to out-of-school care for older children aged up to 11 years. We are open 50 weeks a year from 7.30am to 6pm.
Our childcare facility is in the grounds of the local primary school, Thurgoland C of E School (an excellent school rated as Outstanding by OFSTED). We overlook the school playing fields and with panoramic views towards Green Moor and Black Moor.
We are run by a voluntary board of Directors, made up of parents and run as a charitable organisation. This means fees, external funding and the results of our fund raising go directly back into the facility - so our children benefit.
